I'm so proud of what a good daddy he is. Putting up the two room tent for the first time in the dark with flashlights, sleeping on only one blanket and snuggling up under two more because it was REALLY cold and we don't own any sleeping bags...fishing with a stick and some string because we don't own any fishing gear (he actually caught something though!), and not having any breakfast because we didn't pack a cooler with any food. Well....at least we know what to pack for next year!
hint hint -- need any gift ideas for our family? Camping stuff would be good :)
But they still had a great time, Avery's favorite thing that amused him for a good 20 minutes on the way there was when Chris did the beaver impression from Lady and the Tramp (Sure! That's Swell! That was Simple!) ...imagine a whistle with every "S".
