The first weekend of September was the World Championships of Foosball in Dallas. Chris being classified as a "Pro" meant that he could only enter events with other Pros or Pro Masters, none of the lower events. He ended up taking 2nd in Pro Doubles, 9th in Open (Master) doubles, and 4th in Pro/Amatuer doubles in the
world!
Avery and I went to visit him there for the weekend. We made the Dallas morning news as all three of us played on a table. I guess he thought it was cute to see a little kid standing on a chair playing - he can shoot a "push kick" a "pull kick" and a "rollover", it's pretty adorable.
